Role and Responsibility Web designer
- Design visually stunning and responsive websites, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet client specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and effective digital experiences.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for website layouts, ensuring the site’s usability and aesthetic appeal.
- Stay up to date with web design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design quality.
- Ensure all designs are optimized for various devices and browsers, with a focus on mobile-first design.
- Implement website content and graphical elements, ensuring seamless functionality and visual consistency.
- Assist with website testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Revise and update websites based on client or internal feedback and performance analytics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices and content strategies.
Experience and Qualifications needed
- Proven experience as a web designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing previous web design work.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) is a plus.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) or Sketch.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, and web usability best practices.
- Familiarity with web development tools, version control (e.g., Git), and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to design pixel-perfect layouts.
- Knowledge of basic SEO principles is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.
